This Privacy Policy describes how Gather (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS application, Gather (the “App”).
When you create an account or sign in, we collect:
We do not collect your full name, phone number, location, or payment card details directly.
Your grocery lists, items, and templates are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not currently sync this data to our servers.
If you subscribe to Gather Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. However, we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, which may receive:
RevenueCat may collect anonymous usage signals (e.g., which in-app purchase screens were viewed) to provide subscription management analytics. We do not collect additional analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry beyond what Apple provides through App Store Connect aggregated metrics (which are anonymous).

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.
Gather is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We rely on Firebase Authentication’s industry-standard security infrastructure. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Communication between the App and Firebase is encrypted via TLS.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
